Welcome to Room Karearea

Karearea Class Newsletter
Welcome to Term 3,
Hope everyone has had a good break and the children are all rested and ready for a busy term of learning.
REMINDER:
This term all children NEED to bring a change of clothes if they want to play on the field, no change of clothes means they will have to stay off the grass areas at break times.
School starts promptly at 8.55am please ensure that your child is at school and prepared to start learning at this time. As previously advised it would be helpful for your child's learning for them to have their own headphones/earbuds as this will allow them to access the various audio programs we use in class. This also will reduce any possibility of cross contamination causing ear infections.
This term is a busy one with preparation for AG Day being one of our main focuses.
AD DAY INFORMATION
Children will be required to do the following:
An Animal or School Project (see attached notice)
3 decorated biscuits - theme their term 2 country study. To fit on a quarter plate.
3 art pieces - these are done in class
3 natural displays (growing, natural elements, recycling.)
Foliage arrangement in an unusual container (student bring ALL the things for this and do it at school on the Friday)
Pressed flower candle jar - Students supply jam jar, pressed flowers. This is to be assembled on the Friday (children were asked to start pressing flowers at the end of term 2)
Living garden - do on Friday.
Please feel free to email me should you have any queries/questions, during school I am unable to clear my emails during the school day so if there is anything urgent please call the office and they will pass the message on to me.
Regards
